Chad A. Walters concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and business law, real estate, construction, and other areas of litigation, including personal injury claims. He has owned and operated his own law firm for 18 years. Chad’s representation focuses on individuals and small to mid-size companies, and ranges from fledgling entrepreneurs to established businesses with a foothold in the Central Florida community. Chad Walters is serious about the law and endeavors to produce positive results by working closely with his clients to accomplish specified tasks and achieve real results. Chad has established strong relationships built on trust, dependability, and respect, while seeking to meet his clients’ special needs. He advises local construction and architecture firms, assisting them with proper State licensure, the negotiation of lien claims, service contracts, subcontracts, and design agreements. He also aids individuals and families with construction defect and home owner’s insurance claims, as well as personal injury claims resulting from automobile accidents and other harmful situations or events. Chad has significant experience with large corporate transactions, and has helped close several multi-million- dollar business and real estate deals. He is well-versed in corporate law and assists new companies with formation and the governance of their corporate books and records.
In addition to representing individuals and companies, Chad Walters also serves as panel counsel for several insurance carriers throughout the United States. He provides defense for a broad spectrum of litigation, including construction defects and property damage claims. His vast knowledge of construction claims and the industry itself has allowed him to successfully negotiate valuable settlements in all of his construction and property damage lawsuits as panel counsel.
Chad earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern’s Shepherd Broad Law School. Prior to opening his own firm, he worked as an associate at a large construction law firm in Orlando, Florida.
